MERANDA BLUE RECIPES
BLUE, SMOOTH AND SPICY

GIN’TLEMAN

Meranda Blue Gin | 50ml |
Dry Lemon Soda | 200ml |
Sugar Syrup | 10ml |
Fresh Lemon Juice | 25ml |
Angostura Bitters | 3-4 Dashes |
Glass | A large stemmed red wine glass |
Garnish | Lemon Peel |
Method | Add Gin, lemon juice, syrup and bitters to the Glass. Add good quality ice cubes and top with dry lemon soda. Stir well and apply Garnish to the surface of the drink. |
A MERMAID’S TALE

Meranda Blue Gin | 50ml |
Aperol | 20ml |
Sugar Syrup | 25ml |
Fresh Lemon Juice | 25ml |
Indian Tonic Water | Top Up |
Fresh Thyme | 1 Sprig |
Glass | Tall Collins Glass |
Garnish | Thyme |
Method | Add all the ingredients into a shaker except the tonic, add ice and shake well. Strain the liquid into a Collins glass filled with ice and then top with the tonic water. Clap the sprig of thyme and place into the drink. Enjoy! |

CLEAR, ZESTY AND DRY

Meranda Dry Gin | 50ml |
Fresh Lemon Juice | 15ml |
Campari | 15ml |
Absinthe | 5ml |
Egg White | From 1 Egg (Important: No Yolk) |
Vanilla Syrup | 1 Sprig |
Glass | Coupette Glass or Champagne Flute |
Garnish | Lemon Zest |
Method | Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake very well. The better the shake the better the egg white will make a foam on the surface of the drink. Strain into the chilled glass and then zest a lemon peel over the surface of the drink. Serve and Enjoy! |
THE FINAL CHAPTER

Meranda Dry Gin | 50ml |
Indian Tonic Water | 100ml |
Simple Syrup | 25ml |
Cucumber | 5 wheels |
Rosemary | 1 Sprig |
Glass | Stemmed Cocktail Glass (40cl) |
Garnish | Cucumber and Rosemary |
Method | In a cocktail shaker, add the cucumber wheels, a small prig of rosemary and the sugar syrup. Muddle well to get the juices out of the cucumber and the oils from the rosemary. Then add the Gin and ice and shake very well. Then Strain this liquid through a flour sieve into the glass to hold back any cucumber and rosemary. Fill the glass with good ice and then top with Tonic. Apply garnish and serve. Enjoy! |

THE AFRICAN COSMO

Meranda Rose Gin | 25ml |
Cranberry Juice | 50ml |
Fresh Lime Juice | 10ml |
Cointreau | 20ml |
Glass | Martini Glass / Or Coupette Glass |
Garnish | Orange Zest |
Method | Add all the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain the liquid into a chilled martini glass (out of the freezer) and then zest an orange peel over the surface of the drink. Serve and Enjoy! |
GRAPEFRUIT SOUR

Meranda Rose Gin | 50ml |
Grapefruit Juice | 25ml |
Agave Syrup | 25ml |
Angostura Bitters | 2-3 dashes |
Glass | Tumbler Glass |
Garnish | Fresh Mint / Crushed Ice |
Method | Add the Gin, Syrup and grapefruit juice to a whisky tumbler glass and stir. Fill the glass with crushed ice until the ice is higher than the liquid. Dash the bitters onto the ice surface and place a sprig of fresh mint into the crushed ice. Serve and Enjoy! |
